The National Orchid Garden

The National Orchid Garden was opened in October 1995 and is located in the Singapore Botanic Gardens.  Three hectares of carefully landscaped slopes provide a setting for over 1,000 species and 2,000 hybrids, with about 600 species and hybrids on display.  There are a number of beautigul fountains and waterfalls in the garden along with a Cool House, a Mist House, Orchidarium and a Bromeliad collection.  An entrance fee is charged to visit the National Orchid Garden, but it is well worth the expense.  The grounds are absolutely stunning with an abundance of colour and greenery.

With love from Singa,
