Vesak Day
Tuesday 17th May, 2011 was a Public Holiday in Singapore for Vesak Day. Vesak Day commemorates the Buddha's birth, enlightenment and death. It is a time of immense joy, reflection and peace and celebrated by Buddhists the world over.
